ReEstablish Richmond’s Community Resources Fair

world Refugee Day 2019

Each year on World Refugee Day people around the globe acknowledge the particular experiences of refugee communities. Several diverse communities of resettled people now call Richmond, Virginia, home - and we believe in welcoming them through various programming that helps them establish roots, build community, and become self-sufficient. With our mission in mind, we host an annual World Refugee Day Resource Fair full of food, fun, entertainment, and community resources for refugees and immigrants in Richmond. In 2018, 659 refugee and immigrants, 140 volunteers, and 41 vendors gathered together at the resource fair. We hope that you will consider joining us as a planner, volunteer, or vendor for this year’s event! Please scroll down to learn more about opportunities to get involved.

Please remember that this resources fair is for Richmond’s newest neighbors. If you know someone who would benefit from all that this fair provides, please invite them! Click the button below to find our invitation to the World Refugee Day Resources Fair translated into several languages read and spoken by people in our resettled communities.
