Virginia Museum of History and Culture             428 N. Arthur Ashe Blvd, Richmond, VA 23220

In this 7-session course, museum staff will prepare students to successfully complete the U.S. citizenship test. Like other citizenship courses, students will learn the civics and history lessons necessary to pass the citizenship examination. Unlike other citizenship courses, students will have the unique opportunity to interact with historical objects, maps, books, and documents and engage with experts. Citizenship classes meet Tuesdays, 6:30-8pm, from April 9 to May 21. Pre-registration is recommended, but students can register at the door on the evening of the first class.

Interfaith Immigrant Partners 8600 Quioccasin Rd, Henrico, VA 23229

In this 8-session course, teachers will help prepare students to complete each section of the U.S. citizenship test. Students will study the civics lessons necessary to pass the examination. Students are expected to be proficient in English. The course is free, and textbook is $5. Classes meet Tuesdays, 6-7:30pm, from January 22 to March 12, 2019. Pre-registration is required.
