Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1925 Grove Ave, Richmond, VA 23220

Free 17-week citizenship class on Sunday mornings at 9:30am, starting September 8.

Virginia Museum of History and Culture, 428 N. Arthur Ashe Blvd, Richmond, VA 23220

In this 7-session course, museum staff will prepare students to successfully complete the U.S. citizenship test. Like other citizenship courses, students will learn the civics and history lessons necessary to pass the citizenship examination. Unlike other citizenship courses, students will have the unique opportunity to interact with historical objects, maps, books, and documents and engage with experts. Citizenship classes meet Tuesdays, 6:30-8pm, from September 17th to October 29th. Pre-registration is recommended, but students can register at the door on the evening of the first class.

Citizenship classes meet Tuesdays 6-9pm from October 1 - December 10, 2019. Registration on September 25: at 9:30am at Beulah Baptist Church, or 5:30pm at Meadowbrook High School. Cost: $75 for book and registration. No cash accepted. No childcare.

Citizenship classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, 10am-12pm or 6-8pm. Fall 2019 schedule: September 23-December 2. Cost: $40 includes workbook and mock interview tutorials. Childcare is available.

Citizenship classes meet on Tuesdays, 6:15-7pm, from September through April. Come early for any class to register. $10.  No pre-school childcare, but homework buddies for elementary and middle school children.
